Elaine Ellis Center of Health has an opportunity for an OB/GYN Physician to join our primary care team in providing patient care at our DC and Maryland offices.

Responsibilities include:

• Care for female patients during prenatal, natal, and post-natal periods.
• Adhere to practice standards from the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and local medical boards.
• Explain procedures, discuss test results, and prescribe treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and re-evaluate treatments as needed.
• Provide therapy, medications, and specialized care to treat or prevent illness.
• Diagnose medical conditions based on reports and test results.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Provide on-call and after-hours coverage.
• Utilize telehealth to communicate with and treat patients when appropriate.
• Educate patients and community members in women’s health.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers.
• Participate in meetings, outreach, and continuing education.

Qualifications include 3-4 years of OB/GYN experience, eligibility for credentialing and privileging, and the ability to perform GYN procedures at local hospitals.
