Job summary

Summa Health seeks a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join the Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio. The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a large, multi-specialty system and participate in resident education.

The role supports a work-life balanced schedule with call coverage and a collaborative team, including access to a Level III NICU, and an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to teach residents and work in Akron area.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care within a multi-specialty group.
• Participate in teaching residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with NICU and hospital-based teams for maternal-fetal care.
• Engage in EPIC EMR workflow and care coordination.
