Job summary

Capital Medical Group in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time OB/GYN to join a growing Women’s Health team. The role blends obstetrics and gynecology in a supportive, academic setting where education is a priority.

With a balanced schedule of clinic, OR days, and Labor & Delivery, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, midwives, APPs, and nurses. Epic EMR supports patient documentation and teaching responsibilities within GWU Hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible OB/GYN with a focus on women's health.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Washington, DC.
• Commitment to education and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for adolescents through geriatric patients.
• Conduct annual wellness exams and preventive women’s health visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common gynecologic and obstetric conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, APPs, nurses, residents, and medical students.
• Educate medical students and residents and train the next generation of physicians.
• Deliver patient-centered care in an academic practice.
• Document encounters using Epic EMR.
