Job summary

Desert Care Network in Palm Springs seeks a full-time OB/GYN to join a physician-led team embedded in a major health system. You will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a resource-rich environment with a Level III NICU on-site and a dedicated laborist team.

The practice offers robotics, 25 L&D beds, and collaboration with neonatology and hospitalists within a three-hospital footprint. A competitive salary with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OB/GYN care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Utilize robotic surgery capabilities with dedicated operating rooms.
• Manage an average daily patient census of 20-25 patients.
• Work within a hospital-based practice connected to Desert Care Network.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, employed position with full-scope OB/GYN practice
• Robotic surgery capabilities with 2 dedicated operating rooms
• Average daily patient census of 20-25 patients
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• 25 labor and delivery rooms; Level III NICU on-site
• On-site Laborist team, neonatologists, hospitalist pediatricians, and MFM
• In-office ultrasound available
• Clinic located in close proximity to Desert Regional Medical Center - the region's only Level I trauma center
