Job summary

Job description

Materna Health is a concierge women's health practice in the West Village. We care for women in the in-between: fertility, early pregnancy, postpartum, and the weeks when a traditional office has no appointment and the ER is the wrong place. We are known for treating hyperemesis gravidarum, with IV hydration and medication in the clinic so women with severe pregnancy nausea get care the same day. Our model is built on one idea: time is a clinical intervention.

The role

We are looking for an OB/GYN to join our team and build a delivery practice with us. You will see patients in our West Village clinic and attend about 50 births in your first year, delivering in New York City. That is roughly one birth a week, with patients you know well. As the practice grows, your delivery volume and your pay grow with it.

Who you will work with

Maternal-fetal medicine is part of our founding team, so you practice with high-risk expertise close at hand. You will also work alongside midwives, a nurse practitioner, nurses, and an in-house sonographer.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary: $400,000 per year
• Bonus structure tied to delivery volume, so your pay rises as your births do
