Advantia Health's Susquehanna OB/GYN & Nurse Midwifery is seeking a compassionate OB/GYN physician to join our experienced team in Maryland. The role focuses on comprehensive gynecologic care with a strong obstetric component and opportunities to participate in a leading nurse midwifery program.

Qualifications

• Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Outstanding diagnostic and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication with patients and colleagues.
• Open to both newly trained and experienced OB/GYN physicians.
• Maryland medical license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered gynecologic care, emphasizing preventive wellness, screenings, and the expert diagnosis and treatment of women’s health conditions
• Provide integrated obstetric services, managing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care - including performing and overseeing approximately 40–50 deliveries per month
• Participate in a balanced call rotation supported by a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers
• Mentor a multidisciplinary care group by providing guidance on best practices, protocols, and patient service excellence
• Leverage advanced technologies and innovative approaches to elevate clinical quality, efficiency, and the overall patient experience
• Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices to bring cutting-edge treatments to patients
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation within the EMR to support continuity of care and compliance with legal and professional standards

Susquehanna OB/GYN and Nurse Midwifery, an Affiliated Practice of Advantia Health LLC, is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join our experienced team of providers! We provide comprehensive care for women through every stage of life - from adolescence and family planning to post-menopausal wellness. Susquehanna OB/GYN also is home to one of Maryland’s most established Nurse Midwifery programs. We deliver more babies and offer more birth options than any other practice in the region. Our experienced physicians and nurse midwives provide personalized, family-centered care - recognizing that every woman and every pregnancy is unique.
