Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN with active interest in women's health.
• Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient OB care, including high-risk pregnancies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OB/GYN care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a dynamic women’s health team in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers a harmonious blend of outpatient clinic work, inpatient obstetric care, and gynecologic surgery. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, covering prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques.
• Participate in labor and delivery coverage and obstetric call rotation.
• Conduct annual exams, preventive care, and women's health screenings.
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gynecologic conditions.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Alabama.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in OB/GYN practice.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
