Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant (per diem) to support obstetric and gynecology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role offers shifts at Brookline, Foxboro, or Westwood locations with a pay rate of $93.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include OB prenatal and postpartum visits, gynecologic exams, orders, prescriptions, and discharge planning. A Master's PA degree and state license are required; experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters required for Physician Assistant licensure.
• Experience preferred but not mandatory; licensed in PA in state of practice.
• Ability to assess and manage obstetric/gynecologic patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient duties include OB visits, prenatal/postpartum care, routine gynecologic exams, Pap smears, IUD insertions and related procedures.
• Inpatient duties include admission exams, wound care, daily notes, prescriptions, orders, and coordination with nursing staff.
• Provide discharge summaries and facilitate transition of patient care between PAs and physicians.
