Job summary

University of Illinois Chicago is seeking an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at open rank. The role involves general obstetrics and gynecology, ambulatory and inpatient care, and active teaching of students, residents and fellows.

The Division includes Global Women's Health, Family Planning and FPMRS, with a residency program and robust clinical services. The candidate should excel in patient care and communication, serving on committees as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree is required.
• ABOG board certification or eligibility is required.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide general obstetrics and gynecology care, including ambulatory and inpatient obstetric services.
• Teach, supervise and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Provide in-house Labor and Delivery and obstetrical coverage as attending physician.
• Participate in departmental committees and special projects.
