Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for a Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty – OB/Women's Health. You will teach in clinical and lab settings, reinforce theory with hands-on practice, and contribute to student evaluation.

The role emphasizes current teaching methods, technologies, and accreditation standards. Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN/Women’s Health, an active FL RN license, and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in FL or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health nursing.
• Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and clinical preceptors.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces didactic content and teaches in the context of clinical and lab application of knowledge.
• Collaborates with content area faculty to document student progress toward objectives.
• Participates in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
• Maintains compliant with program accreditation requirements.
• Upholds nursing as a holistic profession and the university's mission.
• Travels to student clinical sites to observe performance.
