Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an OB/GYN for inpatient obstetrics in Idaho. The position involves night shifts (5 pm–7 am) with weekend pager calls and ~1,100 deliveries per year. Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and you will have 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants.

Responsibilities include managing high- and low-risk pregnancies, OB ultrasounds (Level I/II), amniocentesis, and complex deliveries. Laparoscopic evaluation and minor procedures are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Inpatient-only practice setting.
• High and low risk pregnancy management required.
• OB ultrasounds Level I and Level II performed.
• Amniocentesis and complicated deliveries required.
• Laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient obstetric care with night shifts 5 pm–7 am and weekend pager calls.
• Manage high- and low-risk pregnancies.
• Perform OB ultrasounds and interpret Level I/II studies.
• Perform amniocentesis and handle complicated deliveries.
• Carry out laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures.
• Document assignments and time entry in online portal.
• Patient load includes ~5–6 patients per day and 2–3 admissions daily.
