Skagit Regional Health is seeking an OB/GYN to join our growing Women’s Health practice in Mount Vernon, Washington. This hospital-employed role includes delivering and managing a balanced OB/GYN patient load, with access to a robotic surgical system and a newly renovated Family Birth Center.

The ideal candidate will be board eligible/certified in OBGYN, have WA licensure (or be able to obtain it), and bring 2–3 years of practice experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in OBGYN is required.
• 2-3 years of practice experience is desired; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Current AHA NRP certification and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certificate required before start.

Responsibilities

• See OB/GYN patients in clinic and hospital setting.
• Perform deliveries and maintain a robust surgical practice with OR time.
• Coordinate care with OB Hospitalists and Level II Nursery staff.
• Work within an integrated EPIC EMR system and utilize available robotic resources.

Highlights

• You will be joining a comprehensive Women’s Health department consisting of six (6) OBGYNs, one (1) urogynecologist, one (1) PA, two (2) Women’s Health ARNPs, and four (4) CNMs.
• This is a full time position with a 32 scheduled patient contact hour work expectation.
• 1:7 call rotation shared equally among our providers.
• Our OB/GYN clinic provides the full spectrum women’s healthcare, including family planning services.
• Your practice would include seeing a balanced patient load of OB and GYN patients in clinic, performing deliveries, and a robust surgical practice with designated OR block time and access to one of our da Vinci Xi Robot at Skagit Valley Hospital, located adjacent to the clinic.
• Our newly renovated Family Birth Center boasts 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs on the unit with dedicated Anesthesia support.
• Our Level II Special Care Nursery is supported by our onsite Pediatric Hospitalists.
• Benefit from the assurance of having OB Hospitalists available 24/7 to provide support whenever required. Our OB Hospitalist also provide backup to our other delivering providers.
• This is a hospital employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!
