Job summary

Women’s Care seeks a Medical Assistant in Winter Park, FL to provide professional clinical support during office visits. Responsibilities include examining room preparation, assisting providers, recording patient information, and ensuring clean, compliant work areas.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, FL MA certification (or willing to obtain), CPR/BLS ideally, and familiarity with EMR systems such as eCW. Experience in OB/GYN or primary care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FL MA certification preferred or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in OB/GYN or Primary Care a plus.
• Able to perform phlebotomy and injections as directed.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures and testing.
• Restock, sterilize, and maintain examination and procedure rooms and lab areas.
• Record medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure, document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections when applicable.
• Educate patients with information and instructions from provider.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
