Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant - OB GYN for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position in Washington. The salary range is $25.62 – $34.58 per hour and the hiring rate depends on education, training, and experience.

The position supports physicians and the healthcare team in delivering patient care within the Medical Assistant scope. In collaboration with the healthcare team, the MA assists with patient preparation, room setup, injections, wound care, and data entry into the EMR.

Qualifications

• WA State MA Certification is required.
• State of Washington Interim Certified credential accepted.
• Must obtain CMA (Non- Interim) within 12 months of issuance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist in wound care per provider orders.
• Enter data into the electronic medical record and maintain files.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to keep clinic operations smooth.
