Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy clinic. You will help with room preparation, vitals, EKGs, blood draws, injections, point-of-care tests, and administrative tasks to keep the patient visit smooth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited MA program (externship/internship) or EMT/paramedic training, plus relevant clinical experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an accredited/approved MA program and MA externship, MA internship, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Certification as MA through CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years clinical experience if MA program not completed.

Aufgaben

• Room setup and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (manual & electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing).
• Pharmacology tasks as needed.
• Administrative duties.
• May perform or assist with in-office procedures/treatments.
