Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System's Boise OB/GYN Clinic is seeking a passionate part-time Medical Assistant to support multiple providers on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus. This role includes MA duties with potential to assist in procedures and blood draws, working in a team-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have OB/GYN or family medicine experience and a strong desire to provide excellent patient care, with MA certification due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA certification within 90 days of hire from Saint Alphonsus approved agencies (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, NPCE MA).
• CNA experience does not qualify for MA position.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple providers in the OB/GYN clinic.
• Perform blood draws and assist RNs with patient calls.
• Assist in procedures such as colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, IUD/Nexplanon placements/removals.
