Job summary

Southwest Contemporary Women's Care in Chandler, AZ is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the Back Office team. Starting pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Hours are 8-5 Mon-Thu and 7:30-2:30 Fri; benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, uniforms, PTO, and holidays.

Experience in OB/Gyn and CPT coding is a plus. Responsibilities include patient rooming, vitals, assisting providers, chart reviews, and EMR coordination using Phreesia and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience required.
• Two years Medical Assistant experience; OB/Gyn preferred.
• Managed care and CPT coding knowledge/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam room; open visit and start note per physician preference; obtain vitals.
• Assist the provider with exams and act as third party in attendance as needed.
• Review chart to ensure labs, X-ray reports, or outside physician reports are available.
• Return calls or messages and provide needed information as appropriate.
• Prepare forms for medication authorization and/or X-rays; document administration details.
