Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an on-site obstetrician-gynecologist to provide OR-based coverage at a Level 1 trauma facility. Shifts are 12 or 24 hours with call required, starting ASAP and ongoing. The assignment features a 1:7 call ratio and requires EPIC EMR documentation.

The facility handles about 80 deliveries per month, supported by 11 OBs and residents. Board certification is negotiable for this assignment, with on-site support and a professional, continuous coverage model.

Qualifications

• Board certification in OB/GYN is negotiable for this assignment.
• Experience providing OR-based obstetric/gynecologic coverage preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR for clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage during 12- or 24-hour shifts.
• Maintain continuous availability with a 1:7 call ratio throughout each coverage period.
• Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system.
