Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks an obstetrician/gynecologist to cover 24-hour OR shifts at a Level 1 trauma facility in Mississippi. Assignment runs December 21–29 with approximately 30–40 deliveries per month and a 1:3 call schedule.

Responsibilities include OR obstetric/gynecologic care and complete documentation in the EPIC EMR. On-site coverage, with anesthesia and NP support, ensures continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• MD degree required and board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology.
• Active board certification in OB/GYN.
• Proficient in OR obstetric/gynecologic coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage for a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Support a 24-hour shift schedule with a 1:3 call ratio.
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system.
