Qualifications

• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document brief patient history in the medical record.
• Prepare patient for examination per guidelines and prior testing.
• Perform routine office testing (phlebotomy, urinalysis, vitals, etc.).
• Assist provider with procedures and minor surgical procedures.
• Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing as needed.
• Administer and document injections and medications.
• Explain tests and medications to patients as instructed.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and families.
