The role provides direct inpatient obstetric care including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, triage evaluations, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications

• Provide direct inpatient obstetric care, including labor management, deliveries, and postpartum care.
• Evaluate obstetric triage patients, admissions, and emergencies.
• Manage vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with MFM, anesthesia, neonatology, nursing, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety debriefings, and education/mentorship of residents, students, and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety debriefings, and education/mentorship of residents, students, and nursing staff.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB/GYN Laborist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.
