Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist for per diem coverage at Memorial Hermann Northeast, a large facility northeast of Houston with Level II/III NICUs and strong administrative support.

The role focuses on deliveries, OB and ED coverage, inpatient rounding and transport coordination, with collaboration from MFM and neonatology, and 24-hour in-house shifts. No clinic duties; start date March 2026 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with valid Texas license or IMLC.
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required.
• Active TX license or IMLC license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and coverage of the OB and main ED.
• Round on inpatients and manage transports.
• Collaborate with MFM and neonatology teams.

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist to come join our team on a per diem basis at Memorial Hermann Northeast, an established OB Hospitalist Program northeast of Houston with tremendous administration support.

• Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital is proud to deliver over 1,400 babies annually, and offers a Level-II & III NICUs with experienced care and advanced technology
• Women's Center, with new OBED department, as well
• Our team is made up of highly motivated OB/GYN hospitalists who perform deliveries, cover the OB and main emergency department, round on inpatients and manage transports
• Collaboration with affiliated MFM and neonatology providers
• 24-hour in-house shifts
• No clinic responsibilities
• Availability starting in March 2026 if provider has a clean file
