OB/GYN Hospitalist/Nocturnist in Maine
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, a regional tertiary care and ACS-verified level II trauma center, is actively seeking an additional board-certified/board-eligible full-time OB/GYN to join our busy hospital-employed practice in a Hospitalist/Nocturnist role.
The role:
There are over 1,600 deliveries annually at NL EMMC, supporting a level III NICU. We serve two-thirds of Maine's geographical area, with many patients traveling over 2 hours to deliver at our hospital.
Our hospital invested in a $300 million tower opened in 2016, which included a complete redesign of our Women & Infants unit, featuring twenty-five private patient rooms, six new labor and delivery rooms, and two state-of-the-art obstetrics/gynecology surgical suites.
