Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) to deliver obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting. You will work with an integrated clinical team, prioritizing patient safety and high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires board certification or active candidacy in OB/GYN, state licensure, and a proactive, collaborative approach to care on a fast-paced labor and delivery unit. 24‑hour shifts are common, with some 12‑hour or mixed options.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Active Candidate in OB/GYN.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the hospital is located.
• Strong interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in managing obstetrical emergencies is highly preferred.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where offered.
• Manage high-risk obstetrical cases with Maternal Fetal Medicine support via telemedicine as required.
• Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds for comprehensive care and communication.
• Serve as the Safety Officer on the labor and delivery unit, overseeing patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, and staff to maintain cohesive care.
• Provide clinical assistance and coverage for community physicians and midwives as requested within safety guidelines.
