Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s OB/GYN Hospitalist opportunity at Hartford Hospital offers call coverage, delivery support, and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. You will supervise residents, fellows, midwives, and advanced practice nurses while contributing to safety and quality initiatives.

The role is based in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a Level 4 NICU, with shifts of 12 or 24 hours, and strong support from subspecialties, research, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN.
• 3 years of experience as an attending.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Providing call coverage and L&D support.
• Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients.
• Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department.
• Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives, or advanced practice nurses.
• Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team.
• Member of patient safety and quality review committees.
• Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine.
