Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an OB/GYN to build a high-volume generalist practice in Northern California. You will deliver outpatient and surgical care, collaborate with a strong team, lead call coverage, and participate in resident education.

The role offers a private-practice style within a university-affiliated hospital, with an established patient base and opportunities in laborist staffing and clinical leadership across Mercy’s regional network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active or eligible California medical license.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in development and pregnancy care.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, outpatient and surgical services.
• Maintain strong surgical volume; operate in the OR about two full days per week.
• Collaborate within a team-care model with active patient volume from local reputation.
• Lead OB/GYN call coverage and residency education.
• Laborist opportunities staffing the OB Hospitalist program and leadership roles.
