Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time, BE/BC OB/GYN physician to join our Generalist team. The role emphasizes team-based care, collaboration with certified nurse midwives, and a practice with a strong gynecology patient population and reduced outpatient obstetric and call burden.

The position splits between the 68th Street and Ada midwifery practices and includes backup coverage, consultation, and clinical oversight within an interdisciplinary model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• MD or DO license required at hire.
• DEA registration required at hire.
• BLS certification required within 120 days.
• ACLS certification required if specialty or stress test performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup coverage and consultation within an interdisciplinary model.
• Provide on-call full-scope obstetrics/gynecology care with generalist teams.
• Deliveries occur at Butterworth Hospital, a high-volume center with ~7,900 deliveries annually.
