Job summary

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for a Generalist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The appointee will join a collaborative team delivering clinical care, education, research, and community engagement across MU Health Care system.

The position will be appointed at Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level (non-tenure clinical track), commensurate with experience and qualifications, with

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in inpatient and outpatient settings at our Columbia and Jefferson City locations.
• Participate in labor and delivery coverage, gynecologic surgery, and ambulatory women's health clinics.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other learners in clinical and didactic settings.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including quality improvement initiatives, educational innovation, or clinical research.
• Contribute to departmental and institutional service activities, including committees and community outreach.
• Collaborate with colleagues across five departmental divisions.
