Job summary

Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine seeks physicians to join the Premier Physician Network as part of a transformative collaboration to advance clinical care, research, and education in the Miami Valley region.

The successful candidate will participate in didactic and clinical teaching, contribute to patient care and scholarly activities, and supervise medical students and residents across inpatient, Labor & Delivery, OR, and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of 4-year OB/GYN residency.
• Board certification or board eligibility anticipated.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license required.
• Federally-issued DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching activities for residents and medical students.
• Contribute to the department's clinical care, research, and teaching missions.
• Supervise and educate medical students/residents in inpatient, Labor & Delivery, OR, and outpatient settings.

This position is a Premier Physician Network position. Minimum Qualifications

Prior to the effective date of appointment*, successful candidates must have:

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree;
• Completed 4-Year Ob/ GYN Residency;
• OB/Gyn Board Certification (or Board-Eligible);
• Unrestricted Ohio Medical License;
• Federally-issued DEA License

** Candidates may be approved to onboard as Board-Eligible with a non-negotiable expectation of Board Certification completion as soon as is feasible.

Preferred Qualifications

Essential Functions and percent of time

PPN and BSOM's OB/ GYN Department seeks an academically-minded faculty member to join the core faculty team with duties including:

• Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM's academic leadership.
• Contributing to the Department's clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
• Duties include participation in education/supervision of medical students/residents in various settings including inpatient work, Labor & Delivery, OR and outpatient clinic sites; and participation in direct patient care activities.
