Job description

Overview
This academic OBGYN position with Dignity Health Medical Group is located in the Phoenix metro suburb of Gilbert, AZ. This employed position is intended to function as core clinical faculty for an anticipated new ACGME accredited OBGYN residency program. Gilbert, AZ, is a vibrant and family-friendly town situated in the southeast part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Boasting a desert climate with abundant sunshine, Gilbert offers residents approximately 300 days of clear skies each year. The town is recognized for its robust economy, access to top-rated schools and educational facilities. With low crime rates and a strong sense of community, it creates a safe and welcoming environment. The town features numerous parks, recreational areas, and family-oriented events, fostering an active outdoor lifestyle.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:

  1. Full scope OBGYN services including: deliveries, antepartum and intrapartum care, annual examinations, gynecological surgery, contraceptive care, and hormonal replacement.
  2. Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
  3. Research or scholarly activities are expected, with .2 FTE carve out for teaching and academics.
  4. In-house call.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification or Board Eligible.
  2. Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure.
  3. Completed ACGME Residency training.
  4. Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
  5. Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and underprivileged.

Pay Range
$218.27 - $293.30 /hour
