Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an ultrasound technologist for the 02250 GCMG Charlotte OBGYN: Southend site. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with OB/GYN experience preferred.

You will perform ultrasound procedures, document results, and help maintain patient records. Responsibilities include producing diagnostic images, maintaining equipment, and coordinating exams with physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Ultrasound Training Program preferred.
• Current license Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required.
• OBGYN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician.
• Produces images for ultrasound diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Documents test results and maintains hard copy images.
• Maintains and inspects ultrasound equipment daily and reports needed repairs.
• Keeps patient records as directed by hospital policy.
• Orders supplies and maintains inventory.
