Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled obstetrics/gynecology registered nurse to join a fast-paced clinic supporting a single OB/Gyn in practice.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with Mon/Tues/Wed and Friday 8–5 shifts, no weekends. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, documentation in the EHR, and safety-focused teamwork; BSN is preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the care team.
• Maintains a culture of safety and timely documentation in the EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and supports team collaboration.
