Job summary

Medical Associates Clinic's Obstetrics & Gynecology department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN to join the team at West Campus in Dubuque. The role involves collecting patient data, coordinating appointments, triage support, and collaboration with the care team to ensure excellent patient care.

The position requires a CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or LPN/RN licensure (or ability to obtain within 6 months), along with strong multitasking and EMR flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or LPN/RN licensure or obtain within 6 months.
• Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course or certification.
• Current certification or registration as CMA/CCMA/RMA or LPN/RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect pertinent patient health care data, diagnostic testing, treatments and review medical records with physician/mid-level providers.
• Assist with scheduling, payment collection, and lab orders.
• Triage, infertility, and surgery work ups.
• Collaborate with health care team according to plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff and promote patient education.
• Document care provided and maintain medical records integrity.
• Assist with reimbursement and insurance requirements.
