Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• Graduation from accredited APRN program required.
• Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice.
• Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients within assigned area and/or area of expertise.
• Obtain relevant patient health history and interpret tests/records.
• Perform physical exams and record findings.
• Prescribe interventions and develop a treatment plan.
• Develop an educational plan for patient/family.
• Assist with scheduling of patients for upcoming procedures.
• Order appropriate consultations/referrals.
• Reassess and modify treatment plans with patient and team.
• Participate in teaching and curriculum development.
