Zusammenfassung

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks an APRN to work inpatient and outpatient in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. The role partners with physician faculty and residents, focusing on clinical practice, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Outpatient and obstetrics/gynecology care, preconception counseling, early pregnancy education, and menopausal care are core. A faculty appointment is required for clinical privileges within UICOMP.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• Graduation from an accredited APRN program.
• Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice.
• Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive care for patients within scope of practice.
• Obtain patient history, perform exams, and interpret tests.
• Prescribe or order interventions and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with other services.
• Schedule procedures and ensure necessary documentation.
• Order referrals and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Engage in teaching and preceptorship with students and residents.
• Maintain faculty appointment to obtain clinical privileges.
