Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Washington state seeks an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in women’s health and OB/GYN to deliver comprehensive care across pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and beyond.

In this 1.0 FTE daytime role, you’ll diagnose, treat and prevent conditions such as abnormal bleeding or infertility, conduct prenatal exams and coordinate with ARNPs, PAs, CNMs and physicians to support patients and families in a collaborative clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited NP, PA-C, or CNM program.
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment.
• Must maintain active ARNP, PA-C, or CNM licensure throughout employment.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal and postpartum care and support.
• Conduct routine exams such as pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
• Consultation and treatment related to irregular menses, hormone disorders, fertility and family planning, STDs and menopausal conditions.
• Referral to OB/GYN physicians and other specialists for additional diagnosis and treatment.
• Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury.
• Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.
