Job summary

McLeod Health Seacoast, Myrtle Beach area, is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join a turnkey practice on the South Carolina coast. The system includes multiple facilities with Da Vinci robotics, a growing L&D program, and an emphasis on top-tier women's health services.

The role offers a competitive base salary plus RVU incentives, strong benefits, CME funds, sign-on and relocation allowances, and a favorable call schedule.

Qualifications

• BC/BE OB/GYN required.
• Willingness to practice on the South Carolina coast.
• Experience with obstetrics and gynecology procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across clinics and hospitals.
• Participate in on-call rotation (goal 1:8) and support delivery services.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine and other specialties to coordinate care.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with a half-day Friday where applicable.

• McLeod Health Seacoast has 155 patient beds
• McLeod Health Loris has 50 patient beds
• Established Practice - turnkey opportunity
• New Outpatient Surgery Center on the growing Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach campus
• Da Vinci Robotics at every location
• State of the art L&D to open within the new hospital in Carolina Forest (2028)
• Currently, there are 6 full-time physicians and one Physician Assistant...and growing
• L&D currently averages 650 babies per year.
• Call rotates 1:6... goal to grow to a call schedule of 1:8
• Practice is Monday- Friday and 1/2 day on Friday! Flexible Scheduling, structure your time your way

McLeod Loris a not-for-profit 50-bed hospital- specializes in general surgery, women's services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and physical/occupational/speech therapies. We also have a new & expanding Dialysis Access Center.

Carolina Forest will ensure a continuation of the highest quality care, access to the best physicians, increased specialty services, and investments in technology. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will be home to a seven-building campus offering a variety of services. In addition, a $56 million, four-story state-of-the-art facility is expected to offer 48 beds, ensuring that all patients have access to immediate care. Expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening date of 2026.
