Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks CRNAs with obstetric anesthesia experience to provide anesthesia care for obstetric patients. The role includes spinals/epidurals, cesarean delivery management, and emergencies, with a 24-hour or two 12-hour shift mix, primarily on weekends.

Applicants must hold a Michigan RN license and CRNA certification, and have 2+ years of obstetric anesthesia experience. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
• Minimum 2 years experience in obstetric anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics during obstetrical deliveries and procedures.
• Proficient to autonomously perform spinals and epidurals.
• Manage cesarean sections and obstetric emergencies.
• Work in a care team model; primarily weekends with a 12/24 hour shift mix.
