Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks CRNAs with obstetric anesthesia experience to provide anesthesia care for obstetric patients. The role includes spinals/epidurals, cesarean delivery management, and emergencies, with a 24-hour or two 12-hour shift mix, primarily on weekends.

Applicants must hold a Michigan RN license and CRNA certification, and have 2+ years of obstetric anesthesia experience. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
• Minimum 2 years experience in obstetric anesthesia.

Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during obstetrical deliveries and procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all A.S.A. classes of patients. Will work in care team model but must be proficient to autonomously perform spinals, epidurals, and manage cesarean section and obstetric emergencies. 2,500-3,000 deliveries per year.

Mix of two 12 hour shifts or 24 hour shift. Primarily weekends.
