GENERAL FUNCTION

As a Sales Associate, you are the most critical link in ensuring our customers have a rewarding experience that elevates their sport performance. The Sales Associate demonstrates excellent customer service skills, meets sales and customer service goals, provides product knowledge, and works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Consistently deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Provide an unsurpassed and memorable customer experience through making a connection, attention to detail, and offering solutions that result in customer satisfaction.
3. Participate actively and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, opticians, and support staff.
4. Maintain the appearance of the store, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. Secure all company assets under your control.
5. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
