General Function

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in ensuring customers have a rewarding experience that enhances their sport performance. The role involves demonstrating excellent customer service, meeting sales and service goals, providing product knowledge, and working collaboratively to meet individual and store objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Consistently meet sales targets and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
  2. Provide an exceptional customer experience through personalized attention, attention to detail, and offering solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, opticians, and support staff.
  4. Maintain the store’s appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. Secure all company assets under your control.
  5. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Basic Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
  3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
  4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
  5. Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a goal-oriented mindset
  6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
