Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager for the Oahu, Hawaii location. The role oversees daily operations, supports the Store Director, and drives excellent customer service with a strong leadership presence.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in supermarkets, are able to work nights/weekends, and will participate in training programs. On-island candidates only, with a $1,000 hiring incentive offered.

Qualifications

• High school education with some college background preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the supermarket industry.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire
• Must successfully pass office clerk training after hire
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• TB Clearance required
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
• Must be able to provide coverage to other locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce store rules and company policies in absence of Store Director.
• Support Store Director to ensure profitable store operation.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain courteous service.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and comply with dress code.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures.
