Takkion is seeking a Tooling Specialist to oversee company assets including tooling, lifting fixtures, and job boxes within a shop environment. You will lead maintenance, calibration tracking, and repairs to ensure asset readiness for daily tasks.

Ideal candidates have warehouse tooling experience, strong organization and teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. Training for forklift/telehandler will be provided as needed.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Past warehouse tooling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook (will train).
• Excellent organizational skills and communications skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the upkeep of tooling, lifting fixtures, and specialty job boxes.
• Track tooling calibration certificates and required pull/lift tests for fixtures.
• Maintain and track task-specific job boxes; restock after field return.
• Perform function tests on tooling equipment returned from field.
• Arrange repairs for broken equipment as needed.
• Create and implement a tool and equipment maintenance program.
• Keep tool storage areas clean and organized in shop.
• Track tooling assigned to trailers and vehicles; enforce policy with crews.
• Operate forklift/telehandler (training and certification provided).
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Tooling Specialist to oversee our company assets. The Tooling Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and project fulfillment based on daily needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of asset management best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Overall upkeep of the company's tooling, lifting fixtures, and specialty job boxes.
• Tracking all tooling calibration certs. and any required pull/lift tests on company owned fixtures.
• Maintain and track job boxes specific to tasks. Inventory upon return from field and restock as needed.
• Perform function test of tooling equipment when returned from field.
• Make or schedule repairs for broken equipment.
• Create and implement tool and equipment maintenance program.
• Cleanliness and organization of all tool storage areas in shop.
• Tracking of tooling assigned to trailers and other vehicles (enforce policy to crews coming in).
• Able to operate Forklift / Telehandler (will train and certify).
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / COMPETENCIES:

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Past warehouse tooling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook (will train).

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. This position operates in an shop environment.
