Our Operating Room Suite consists of 15 procedure rooms providing the capacity to perform 50-60 cases on a daily basis. We perform approximately 18,000 surgical procedures annually. Recently upgraded, we provide an aseptic environment and state of the art instrumentation. The operating room is available to schedule inpatient and outpatient for major, minor and emergency surgical procedures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position completes assistive tasks for the surgical team during all phases of procedural care, in support of the Main or Ambulatory Operating Room, Endoscopy, and CVMP department(s).

Provides technical and clinical support to the perioperative team during a variety of surgical procedures. Performs duties as the primary scrub person by handling instrumentation, supplies and equipment. Anticipates the surgeon and procedural needs.
Current BLS/CPR certification. Demonstrates manual dexterity and ability to handle equipment and instruments. Ability to work effectively in task-oriented situations.
Clinical setting. Exposure Class I.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting maximum of 50 pounds. Will require ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat and reach.

Level II upon certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists. Level III upon successful completion of additional performance criteria.

Pay Range: $32.50 - $45.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
