Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking an accomplished Certified Operating Room Technician for the night shift. In this role you will scrub in, assist, and anticipate physicians’ needs across a wide range of surgical procedures in a high-profile department.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program, NBSTSA certification, and at least one year of OR experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a nationally accredited Surgical Technician program.
• NBSTSA Certification required.
• One year experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting.
• Experience in Orthopaedics, ENT, General GYN and Ophthalmology preferred.

Responsibilities

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completition of a nationally accredited education program for Surgical Technicians
• NBSTSA Certification
• One year experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting
• Orthopaedics, ENT, General GYN and Ophthalmology experience

Salary Range: $41.72-$51.55/Hourly
