Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager for the Miami Energy Center to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safe, compliant performance of the wind facility.

You will recruit, train and manage staff, prepare budgets, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and drive maintenance planning and safety initiatives in a fast-paced energy environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of supervisory experience.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
  • Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Perform routine Quality Assurance checks of wind technician work.
  • Assist wind technicians from time to time in various wind turbine maintenance.
  • Respond to on-site emergencies, including outside of normal working hours, according tosafety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

About The Site

The Miami Wind Energy Center is a 288.6 MW wind power generation facility located in Roberts and Hemphill counties, TX utilizing GE 1.85-87 MW turbine technology.

Position Overview

As an Operations & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Miami Energy Center.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience
  • Technical degree
  • Experience in power generation facilities
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or skilled trade environment.
Base Pay

$115,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 10% - 40%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education and skills.
