Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing essential functions of daily store operations, including customer service, sales, bakery packaging, and food and beverage production.
  2. Assisting the Retail Store Manager and Assistant Managers with opening/closing duties, cash reconciliation, vendor ordering, health inspection readiness, bakery/deli fulfillment, inventory, and waste management.
  3. Coaching and developing staff, working with other leaders and Human Resources to foster positive relationships.
  4. Training staff to provide exceptional customer service according to O&H Danish Bakery standards.
  5. Maintaining the overall presentation of retail bakery areas and products.
  6. Optimizing operational efficiencies while ensuring high-quality standards are met or exceeded.
  7. Conducting daily inventory of stock and supplies.
  8. Ensuring staff adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and food safety procedures.
  9. Filling daily/weekly orders accurately.
  10. Reviewing team performance, promoting strengths, and identifying areas for improvement.
  11. Developing team leaders to ensure smooth operation in the manager's absence.
  12. Supporting other departments as needed to fulfill the company's mission.
  13. Performing other duties as assigned by management.
