O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking aBIM Coordinatorto join our team in Connecticut or Rhode Island.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in bidder qualification, pre-bid site walkthroughs, formal presentations and represent O&G in new business opportunities as directed
• Assist the project team with the development of a site logistics plan, developing the phasing sequence for construction
• Provide a monthly executive summary of the progress of MEPFP Coordination
• Assist the Project Superintendent in review of clashes that occur during installations and provide recommendations of issues as necessary
• Review MEPFP submittals including shop drawings and product data to ensure accurate models are being created
• Assist the MEPFP trades/subcontractors to provide them with information to continue the progress of work
• Lead training sessions to enable O&G teams to leverage BIM tools

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or other construction related field
• 5 years of project management experience in construction
• Efficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM related software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized self-starter with a strong work ethic
