Job summary

North Sound Communications & Electric in Lopez Village, WA is seeking an entry-level Electrical Trainee to learn under a licensed electrician and work toward becoming a Journeyman Electrician. No prior experience or education is required; you will earn while you learn through on-the-job training on various projects from residential to commercial.

You will be paired with an experienced journeyman, handle installations, repairs, and testing of electrical systems, and contribute to a strong company

Qualifications

• Must be motivated to learn the electrical trade.
• Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.
• Willingness to learn electrical code and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and work ethic.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work under a licensed electrician to learn the electrical trade and become a Journeyman Electrician.
• Assist with installations, repairs, and testing of residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Learn on-the-job across various projects from new construction to commercial sites.

An electrical trainee position with North Sound Communications & Electric is the perfect chance to earn a paycheck while learning a valuable trade. We seek an entry-level electrical trainee to work under a licensed electrician to learn the concepts and skills necessary to become a Journeyman Electrician—no experience or education is required.

• Partnered with an experienced journeyman electrician for on-the-job training
• Learn to work on all different types of projects – from new construction to commercial projects
• Assist with the installation, repair, and testing of residential and commercial electrical systems

• $18 - $25/hour (DOE)
