Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an early to mid-career Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team and help expand the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program. The role includes vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities at one of the nation’s top academic medical centers.

We welcomeBoard Certified/Board Eligible physicians with LVAD and transplant experience, ready to contribute in a high-volume program renowned for outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist with advanced heart failure training.
• Experience with management of acute mechanical support devices (LVADs) and patients pre/post heart transplant.
• Comfort in managing patients in critical care settings; academic clinical, research and teaching focus.

Job description

Seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to help expand the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program. Our program has seen tremendous growth in all areas of heart failure, including cardiac sarcoid and amyloid, and is one of the largest heart transplant programs in the Northeast with among the best outcomes in the nation. Leadership opportunities are available.

We are seeking an early to mid-career Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist who has proximate experience (or training) with the management of acute mechanical support devices, LVADs, and patients pre and post heart transplant. Comfort in managing patients in the critical care space is necessary. This is a full-time, academic position with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities at one of the top five academic medical centers in the United States.
